You can easily remove the author name, create date, or modify date from a Joomla! article. Log in to your Joomla! administrator back-end and go to Content > Articles. Click the title of the article you want to edit.
Click the Options tab and locate the Show Author, Show Create Date, and Show Modify Date options. For each option you want to change, select Hide in the dropdown list. Note that the author and date details will not be deleted, but are no longer displayed in the published article.
Click Save to save your changes.
